Each month (on the first Tuesday) songwriters will collaborate to celebrate the stories of our nation's veterans through song. This showcase raises awareness and funding for Freedom Sings USA - a non-profit group that provides music and arts therapy for veterans with PTSD/TBI and other combat-related injuries.

Featured and Invited friends of songwriters come together at the Listening Room Cafe in Pigeon Forge, Tennessee January 4th at 6:00PM to
celebrate the stories of World War II veterans that are on the 2020 release of VOL: Freedom Sings WW II which can be heard on www.freedomsingsusa.org/our music.

To help Celebrate these heroes at the first in a series of shows, we have invited Cody Mabe for his song " What He Had To Do" along with featured songwriters Trisha Gene Brady and Nashville hit songwriter Wood Newton (whose 2001 hit "Riding With Private Malone" reached #2 on Billboards Hot Country Chart).

Also performing will be Don Goodman (Grammy-Nominated Songwriter, FSUSA Co-Founder), famed songwriter who wrote Ol' Red (for Blake Shelton), Angels Among Us (for Alabama) and other country hits. He will be joined by some of the WWII Veterans featured on this record.
