DOWNTOWN NASHVILLE — SPECIAL CONCERT EVENT HONORING VETERANS
The “HONKY TONK VETERANS JAM”

At Honky Tonk Central, Thursday, July 11 from 6pm to 10pm (on the 2nd floor)

Presented by: Honky Tonk Central and Freedom Sings USA
Join us for the “Honky Tonk Veterans Jam” — a special event honoring our Veterans— on the 2nd floor of Honky Tonk Central, located in the heart of downtown Nashville. This event will take place on Thursday, July 11, from 6pm to 10pm.
This concert will feature live bands playing hits and originals, including songs written and inspired by Veterans.

We're back in Nashville with another Veteran's Jam on July 11th with a great line-up of artists playing hits and new songs written, and inspired by Veterans...

Army Ranger, Master Sergeant John Minatra
·      One of the most decorated Vietnam-era Army Veterans from Tennessee
·      Recipient of the Distinguished Service Cross, Bronze Star, Purple Heart, and Army Commendation Medal
·      Inducted into the Army Ranger Hall of Fame, 2017
·      Local Army Ranger Veterans group, “Minatra Base” is named in his honor

Freedom Sings USA and top Nashville bands perform each month to honor the service of our Veterans and to promote the benefits of music as a tool for Veteran wellness.

EDUCATION AND TRAINING
Freedom Sings USA and Honky Tonk Central have partnered to provide songwriting and music arts instruction for aspiring musicians who wish to work with Veterans and nonprofits.

MUSIC ARTS THERAPY (FOR VETS)
Through the generous donations of Honky Tonk Central patrons, its proprietors and its partners, Freedom Sings USA provides free songwriting classes and music arts therapy workshops for Veterans and Military families. classes are held live and online.
